Denzel's "Out Of Time"

I watched two of Denzel's movies over this weekend. The first one was the suspense thriller "Out of Time" and the other "The Philadelphia" which was a serious drama with fabulous court scenes.

Out of Time is a story about a Police chief who has to solve a murder case when all the possible evidences are pointing to him. The story is all about how he stays ahead of his own police team to find the murderer , before he runs "Out of Time" and be convicted.

I liked the character Chea. His dialogues and the delivery style were cool. I liked the way he says "Would you have given it to me if I slept with you? " when Denzel gives the money confiscated from drug dealers to his mistress. And the innocense with which he says "Those assholes from the DEA are at xxxx, Southeast 63rd street." in front of the DEA officers.

And Denzel was asusual at his best. His expressions were the best in the scene when he tries to delete his phone numbers from the incoming call list. The fear of being caught by his wife, eagerness to remove all the evidences pointing to him were clear on his eyes. He is just too good.

This movie was ripped and remade in Hindi as Zeher by Mahesh Bhatt. I guess the whole of Mahesh Bhatt's team would have sat in front of the home theatre and made detailed plan for ripping each scene or frame of this movie. And how the #*?& could they think of casting Emran Hashmi in Denzel's role........
